On Construction in process: Tomek Pawłowski Jarmołajew (b. 1995 in Sokółka, Poland) is a curator, and an events and meeting producer living between Poznań and Białystok, Poland. They use collective practices, critical entertainment, and politics of friendship as his main guiding framework. They participated in alternative curatorial programs in Sofia (2018, School of Curators at Swimming Pool, Sofia curated by Viktoria Draganova) and Belgrade (2019, What Could/ Should Curating Do? curated by Biljana Ciric). They are the curator of numerous exhibitions, performances, and projects in collaboration with artists and collectives from younger generations, as well as independent galleries, and institutions in Poland. They’ve collaborated with the Galeria Arsenał in Białystok, Gdańska Galeria Miejska, the Szczecin Art Academy, and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, among others. In 2017, they co-curated (along with Romuald Demidenko and Aurelia Nowak) The Open Triennial: the 8th Young Triennial at the Center for Polish Sculpture in Orońsko. They are also the co-curator (with Magdalena Adameczek and Ola Polerowicz) of Sandra Art Gallery, the nomadic agency associating with and supporting emerging female artists from Poznań.
