Martin Ku (b. 1985 in Falkenberg, Sweden) is a Swedish interior designer and scenographer based in Stockholm and Berlin. As an interior designer, he has previously worked at Wingårdhs Architect Studio and BSK Architect in Stockholm and Gothenburg. As a set designer, he has worked at Deutsche Oper Berlin and with the Munich Biennale. He is particularly interested in architecture as branding to increase profitability, as well as exploring narrative storytelling through temporary spaces and it is for this reason that he got into curating, namely his interest in exhibition design.
He is a strong believer in lifelong learning, as he and a team in Berlin are developing a queer network and collective with "Lifelong learning through a queer lens" as their motto. In his spare time, he is developing the ongoing project "Burasera-Berlin" where he is creating an archive of used vacuum-packed underwear from people in Berlin as a way of exploring the intersection between intimacy and fetish in a specific context.
