Lucia Dubačová
Lucia Dubačová is an international cultural manager, strategist and curator. She co-founded Sensorium Festival in Bratislava, Slovakia working with artists, creative technologists and scientists on interdisciplinary art and design practices. Lucia directed Trenčín 2026 European Capital of Culture: large scale, culture-led development process with communities of citizens, international artists and cultural professionals. Before she led projects in the research and development department of the Slovak Design Center. Recently, Lucia shaped the programme of TU-BA, Bratislava's centre for architecture and urban planning and she leads on the Placemaking Week Europe festival in a different European city each year. Lucia collaborates regularly with art-technology-science festivals, projects and international networks as a curator and mentor including Immersive Arts Wales, Signal Festival in Prague and IF Lab.
She holds an MA in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship from Goldsmiths University in London and is trained in future foresight by Hyper Island.
