Florian Auer
Florian Auer is a graduate student in Architecture (Technical University of Vienna) and Expanded Museum Studies (University of Applied Arts Vienna), originally from Austria. During the CuratorLab program, he is based in Stockholm, Sweden, where he is pursuing an internship in exhibition design at Studio SqCircle.
Auer's previous work ranges from conceptual and spatial design to curating, with projects that explore how space can be shaped, presented, and experienced. This often involves working across different contexts, moving between practical design tasks and more reflective, research-based approaches. In 2025, he co-curated the project Third Spaces, exhibited at the Angewandte Festival in Vienna, which examined spatial thresholds and the potential of in-between zones. His current interests focus on the liminality of architecture, in-between spaces, and the experience of space through haptic senses within the context of curating and exhibition-making.
