Marybeth Sandell
Marybeth Sandell is a curator of news and information, having worked for two decades with gathering and presenting writing, photography, video and sound at institutions including Bloomberg and ArcticToday. Sandell focuses on inspiring public discourse on current conflict-laden topics in society amid change. She is particularly interested in the documentation of the normalization of unacceptable behavior, as well as the role language plays in diversity and inclusion or exclusion.
As both American and Swedish, her past self-curated exhibits have focused on the Swedish Åsiktskorridor, the American Conservative manifesto known as Project 2025 and the idea of resilience in society. Marybeth Sandell has a Bachelors in Literature from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Masters in Communication and Technology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
