Between 2017 and 2020 Julius Lehmann was Research Fellow in the project Das Skulptur Projekte Archiv Münster. Eine Forschungseinrichtung für die Wissenschaft und die Öffentlichkeit [The Skulptur Projekte Archives in Münster: A Research Institution for Scholars and the Public], supported by the Volkswagen Foundation. He studied Art History and History at the Friedrich-Schiller- Universität Jena (B.A.) and at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, as well as Art and Visual History at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (M.A.). His work for the Skulptur Projekte Archives has included the recording and processing of the archives as well as contributing to the catalogue Public Matters. Debates and Documents from the Skulptur Projekte Archives (Cologne: Walther König 2019). With Marianne Wagner he developed the archival presentation Das Werk als Ort.Vom Entstehen kommunikativer Räume [Work as Site. On the Emergence of Communicative Spaces] at the LWL-Museum für Kunst und Kultur, Münster (November 2018 to September 2019).
