Giulia Floris (Livorno – Italy, 1990) is an art historian and researcher based in Rome. She studied Cultural Heritage at the University of Pisa and Visual Cultures and Curatorial Practices at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, collaborating to the organization of several events and exhibitions. After an internship at Christie's Italia and years of professional experience in a modern and contemporary art gallery in Milan, she has started working as a freelance consultant for event and exhibition's programs planning. She is currently collaborating with Istituto Villa Adriana and Villa d’Este - VILLÆ in Tivoli as Exhibition Coordinator, with CASTRO Projects in Rome asFunding and Public Program Manager and with ArtVerona art fair as appointed curator for LAB1, the section dedicated to non-profit experimental realities. With Giulia Ratti she is co-founder of Cluster Report, a research platform about project spaces for contemporary art in Italy. The first contents collected through theplatform were published in 2018 (Italian Cluster). Since its foundation in March 2020, Giulia has been an active member of AWI - Art Workers Italia, for the defense of workers' rights in the italian cultural sector.
